Labor of Love Meals

As a Certified Nutrition Coach, Expert in Perinatal Nutrition, lover of all thing’s pregnancy and postpartum, and avid cook, I am so excited to offer Postpartum Meals. These meals are designed specifically around the nutrition needed for mothers after birth. Birth is quite a taxing experience. The loss of blood, energy expenditure, and milk production leaves a woman depleted of tons of nutrients needed to help their healing process and caretaking of their new bundle of joy.

I know personally how crazy life can get with a newborn and innately women tend to take care of themselves last. Optimizing nutrients for themselves sometimes isn’t even on their list of things to do in a day but that leaves their health and healing at the wayside, which in turn, is not good for anyone in their family, especially their new baby. Quick, easy, takeout meals can become the norm for a family with a new addition but doesn’t necessarily contain everything a postpartum mom needs.

Banana Porridge w/ Chia
Our warm Banana Oatmeal will bring you comfort in the first bite. Rich with omega-3s from chia seeds, medium-chain fatty acids from coconut oil, fiber and lactation support from sprouted oats and infused with collagen, it is sure to be a nourishing first meal meeting all your needs to start the day. Finished with Ceylon cinnamon and coconut sugar, your taste buds will also benefit!

Sausage Congee
Congee is a traditional meal in China and other Asian countries that is a base of rice. It requires you to deeply stew the rice making it a gentle and warm, easy to digest porridge. With the added beef and bison sausage mix, you will get a meal that’s packed with protein for any time of the day. We finish this off with a squeeze of lime to give this congee a refreshing twist!

Creamy Chicken Soup
Traditional Chicken Soup (with a twist) never tasted so good! Veggies sauteed in grassfed butter along with the coconut milk added to this, not only make it rich and creamy, but flood this soup with healthy fats needed for hormone support. Regeneratively-raised chicken thighs fill this soup with protein, along with bone broth, and jasmine rice gives it some bulk. Finished with a squeeze of lemon, you’re going to want this soup that manages to be refreshing and decadent any time of the day.

Roasted Ancestral Chili
Our Roasted Ancestral Chili is a powerhouse packed with tons of nourishment and a mix of flavors you have never had in a chili before. With a superior protein blend of beef and hidden organ meats, you will receive any depleted vitamins and minerals your body needs as it heals. Primal Beef Stew
